Job Role

Business Development (Sales) Intern – Tamil

As a Business Development Intern, you’ll be part of the team that connects brands with opportunities on ShareChat and Moj. Your role involves understanding the Tamil-speaking market and helping brands reach the right audiences. You’ll be directly interacting with clients, pitching ideas, and closing deals while learning core business development strategies. It’s an exciting mix of communication, creativity, and sales skills.

Job Description

Connect, communicate, and convert leads into long-term customers.

You will help grow ShareChat’s business by identifying new leads, building relationships, and offering tailored solutions. Your daily responsibilities will include cold calling, networking, and following up on leads to convert them into loyal clients. You’ll also work with internal teams to understand user needs and market trends in the Tamil-speaking audience, especially in niche categories like astrology and devotion. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on sales experience in a fast-paced tech company.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree (completed or in-progress) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

While a formal degree in business or marketing is preferred, what matters most is your willingness to learn, your communication skills, and your passion for the digital space. Skills Required

Salary

Stipend provided as per industry standards for internships. The estimated average salary for a ShareChat intern is between ₹15,833 to ₹25,105 per month

This is a paid internship and you’ll receive a monthly stipend. The exact amount will be discussed during the interview process and is designed to be competitive with current internship rates in the industry.
