Job Description
As part of DRDO LRDE’s apprenticeship program, selected candidates will assist in ongoing projects and contribute to research and development activities. Apprentices will be guided by seasoned professionals and exposed to modern technologies and tools used in the development of military-grade systems. Responsibilities vary by discipline but typically include technical support, documentation, lab work, software/hardware testing, and maintenance.
Education Qualification
To apply for DRDO LRDE Apprentice positions, candidates must have completed their qualifications in 2023 or later. The educational criteria are:
Graduate Apprentice: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or Non-Engineering (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BCA, B.Lib.Sc).
Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant disciplines such as ECE, CSE, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.
Trade Apprentice: ITI Certificate in trades like Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Draughtsman, Welder, etc., from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutes.
Skills Required
Applicants should have domain-specific knowledge, basic understanding of engineering principles, effective communication skills, and a proactive learning attitude. Familiarity with tools or software related to your discipline will be an added advantage.
Salary
DRDO LRDE provides a monthly stipend to apprentices to support their training period. The stipend structure is as follows:
Graduate Apprentice: ₹9,000/- per month
Diploma Apprentice: ₹8,000/- per month
Trade Apprentice: ₹7,000/- per month
DRDO Freshers salary starts aprox 56,000 to 1,00,000 per month.

Job Type
