The SBI Youth for India Fellowship is an initiative by the State Bank of India Foundation. It is designed to empower young individuals who are Citizens of India, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Citizens of Nepal/Bhutan. The fellowship offers a transformative opportunity to work on grassroots developmental challenges across rural India.
Job Location
The fellowship operates in over 250 villages across 20 Indian states, providing immersive rural experiences.

Internship (Fellowship Programme). Fellows collaborate with NGOs, local governments, and rural communities to implement sustainable development projects.

The fellows will live and work in rural areas to identify challenges and design impactful, sustainable solutions. They will partner with community stakeholders and development professionals to implement grassroots projects.
Education Qualification
Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in any discipline. Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.

Job Type
Fellowship-based internship with a duration of thirteen months.
Shift and Schedule
The role demands full-time commitment for the entire fellowship period. Fellows are expected to reside in the assigned rural location and work closely with community members and partner organizations.
